Johannah Harris is the Senior Quality and Food Safety Manager at Festida Foods. Along with overseeing the Quality and Sanitation departments, she maintains excellence in food safety and quality of products by managing the Food Safety Plan and all associated programs and procedures. She ensures all products meet quality specifications and customer standards.
Previously, Johannah was the Food Scientist at Festida Foods before being promoted to her current position in January of 2018. She gained experience in the snack food industry working as a Research Technician at ConAgra Foods in the RQI department of the snack bars division. She also gained laboratory and food safety experience working as a Lab Technician and Food Safety Coordinator at Alliance Analytical Laboratories, where she conducted chemical and microbial testing on food products, wrote HACCP and Food Safety Plans for food production facilities, and performed 3rd party audits.
Johannah graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science in 2013. She is HACCP, PCQI, and Internal Auditor certified. She loves being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and has a passion for traveling.
