Angela Whitehead is a Food Scientist in the Research & Development department at Festida Foods. She is responsible for managing new product startups which involves creating formulas, performing plant trials, calculating nutritional panels, and sourcing raw ingredients to ensure all new products will run smoothly and within specifications for successful long-term production.
Prior to Festida, Angela spent three years as a Research and Development Project Manager at Roskam Baking Company in Grand Rapids where she focused on driving projects from concept to production for new products, line extensions, and product improvements.
Angela earned an Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts at Schoolcraft College and her Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science from Michigan State University. She is HACCP certified and well versed in developing foods to meet the requirements of USDA Organic, Non-GMO, Gluten Free, and Kosher. Angela is extremely dedicated to her work and ensuring customers are greatly satisfied with the overall outcome of their finished product.
