Kyle and his wife, Jackie, have owned Festida Foods since 2007. Since acquiring Festida, Kyle has been instrumental in changing the company’s sales approach from a mixture of branded, food service and limited private label into first and foremost, a co-packer and private label food manufacturer. His strategy to become a world-class manufacturer, while focusing on the art and science of tortilla and corn chip manufacturing, has resulted in incredible growth.
Buoyed by Festida’s 2011 move from a smaller facility in Cedar Springs, Michigan into a 180,000 square foot facility in Grand Rapids, along with the purchase of additional manufacturing equipment, Festida has expanded both its manufacturing capacity and product lines. Recently, the addition of pellet snacks, including vegetable chips and straws, among a myriad of other products, has introduced Festida to an entirely new customer base. Additionally, the addition of a cooked corn tortilla chip line has expanded its offerings. In his role as CEO & President, Kyle’s focus includes leadership, culture-building, development of team and people, as well as maintaining a hand in his passion, sales.
Kyle and Jackie have three children: Colton, Casie and Coby. Kyle’s interests outside of Festida include a variety of sports, including hunting, coaching, reading, church, community and especially, spending time with family.
