Johannah Harris is the Food Scientist in the Research and Development department of Festida Foods. She is responsible for formulations, calculating nutritional panels, labeling, and helps to ensure that all products are running smoothly and within specifications.
Prior to working at Festida Foods, she gained experience in the snack food industry working as a Research Technician at ConAgra Foods in the RQI department of the snack bars division, as well as gained lab experience working as a Lab Technician and Food Safety Coordinator at Alliance Analytical Laboratories, where she conducted chemical and microbial testing on food products, wrote HACCP and Food Safety plans for small food production facilities, and performed 3rd party audits.
Johannah graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science in 2013 and is HACCP certified. She loves being outdoors and has a passion for traveling.
